At BeWell Network, we provide curated treatment experiences to help our clients discover the path to healing from addiction and mental health conditions. This involves customizing treatment schedules to the unique needs of each person. Most treatment centers take clients on a general treatment track that is not typically flexible. But our approach is intentional and versatile. We customize treatment in order to help each person find his or her own path to long-term recovery.
Why Do Curated Treatment Experiences Matter?
Every person is unique, and every addiction is unique. Each person’s journey to healing is also unique, which is why we diligently tailor the treatment experience for every individual. It begins with a comprehensive assessment, and we make adjustments along the way based on input from our professional team and the client’s specific goals.
Our treatment is trauma-informed, which is not the same as traditional trauma therapy. Other treatment centers may offer a potluck of modalities, but their approach is not necessarily centralized. It’s trauma-saturated, but not trauma-informed.
At BeWell, we are highly intentional and compassionate in regard to trauma treatment and resolution. We take the perspective that trauma should be resolved safely and without confrontation, utilizing expressive therapies, dream work, and evidence-based methods to create non-threatening pathways into the psyche to resolve deep-seated pain.
What We Offer to Clients
At BeWell Network, we offer clients the opportunity to have truly distinct experiences that foster ownership of their recovery and a path for sustaining long-term wellness. A client’s schedule may include a mix of individual therapy, group therapies, expressive therapies, 12-Step meetings, education, and wellness sessions. Here’s just a sampling of what that may include:
Setting goals with the treatment team
Learning about life skills and healthy relationships
Engaging in non-threatening trauma treatment
Mindful meditation and reflection time
Art therapy, yoga, music, or movement
Learning how to prevent relapse
Processing grief and loss
Learning about nutrition and wellness
Engaging in family systems therapy or coaching
AA or NA meetings
Understanding body image
Receiving holistic and psychiatric services
Interacting with and gaining support from peers in recovery
One-on-one therapy sessions that include DBT, TF-CBT, or ACT
We utilize Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Intergenerational Family Systems Work, Mindfulness-Based Art Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Response, and other treatments to facilitate a client’s recovery. We believe integrating family systems and peer support can provide the accountability and encouragement that individuals need to continue on their recovery journey.
At BeWell, we don’t take a cookie-cutter approach to treatment. We believe in partnering with clients and tailoring their treatment experiences so that they can thrive in recovery.
We’re willing to break the bounds of traditional schedules and timelines to make long-term healing possible for each person.
Here’s what that can look like:
- Traditional treatment may include individual therapy sessions anywhere from one to three times a week. At BeWell Network, we scale individual therapy sessions up or down, even up to five times a week, depending on what the client needs. We believe that if a client needs more time with his or her therapist, we should create space for that in that person’s schedule.
- We work to put together unique solutions to support the client’s healing process. Sometimes this means adding sober coaching, involving the family in more ways, or carving out more time for reflection or expressive therapies.
- We believe family systems are the “glue” that can anchor a person’s long-term recovery. We incorporate the family and/or supportive friends on a regular basis, going far beyond traditional family weekends or programming. We build out a client’s support system to help him or her participate in treatment and continue in their recovery long after treatment is over. We also prepare families, helping them heal and equipping them for all the “what if’s” they may face.
